Ingredients

  • 12 oz fettuccine or pasta of choice

  • 4 tbsp butter

  • 6 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 cup heavy cream

  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese

  • 1/2 cup pasta water (reserved)

  • 1/4 tsp nutmeg

  • Salt and pepper to taste

  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  • Cook pasta according to package directions. Reserve 1 cup pasta water.
  • In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat.
  • Add minced garlic, cook 1 minute until fragrant.
  • Pour in heavy cream, bring to gentle simmer.
  • Stir in Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth.
  • Add nutmeg, salt, and pepper to taste.
  • Toss cooked pasta in the sauce, adding pasta water as needed for consistency.
  • Serve immediately topped with extra Parmesan and fresh parsley.
